How to start with Bidly as a landlord

On this page we will guide you step by step

Managing your real estate can sometimes be a time-consuming task. An online platform like Bidly can help you make life easier as a landlord. You can use Bidly as a private and corporate landlord to automate the financial management of your property portfolio. You can start using Bidly at any time, in the middle of an ongoing lease or when you have just found a new tenant.

How do I start with Bidly as a landlord?

Step 1

To get started, you can create a landlord account here. We ask you to choose a preferred language and provide your name, email address and password. Then click on create account and log in.  Note: If you receive the rent on a business account, please check this box and enter your Chamber of Commerce number and company name.

Step 2

For security reasons and communication purposes, we now ask you to verify your phone number. Enter your phone number and click "send code" and enter the code you receive on your phone.

Step 3

Verify your email address. You have received an email with the subject "Email verification link Bidly" on the email address you provided. Click on the link in this email, now your email address is verified.

You have now successfully set up your account. To start collecting rent you will also need to link your bank account and confirm your identity. You can also do this at a later time but then you won't be able to invite tenants and have them pay the rent through Bidly. And good to know, by linking your bank account and confirming your identity, you are not entering into any obligation or subscription. We only do this to know to whom and on which account we pay out the collected rent.

Step 4

Connect your bank account. Through a 10 cent payment via iDeal you simply link your bank account to your Bidly account on which we will pay out the rent. After the 10 cent payment has been processed, it may take up to 1 business day before the bank account is finally validated and linked.

Step 5

Confirm your identity. At Bidly, we ask you to do this to make sure we are disbursing the money to the right person. We do this easily and securely through the iDin check, similar in process to an iDeal transaction. Select your bank and click on "Verify your identity".  Final approval can take up to 1 business day.

Note: Have you linked a business account? If so, always do the iDin check from your private account in the name of the beneficial owner.

You will receive an email from us when your bank account and identity have been successfully verified. Once you have received this, you are ready to invite tenants and receive the rent through Bidly!
